CANTON -- The third sesquiennial Local Living Festival will take place the weekend of Apr. 27 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning farm. The first organizing meeting for the festival will be Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. at the extension, 2043 State Hwy. 68. Year-round goals and other projects will also be discussed, including creation of a Homesteading College, a Local Venture Center with locally-based small business incubation and community-building enterprises, workshops, intern mentoring and local events.
