CANTON – St. Lawrence Health System will host an opioid awareness panel dinner at the Best Western, Canton, on Sept. 11.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the panel discussion will begin at 6.
Presenters will include Emma Brackett, LCSW, CASAC; Christopher Dodge, MS, RPA-C; and Prof. Ryan Titus, Pharm.D., BCOP, BCPS, Ambulatory Oncology Pharmacist.
The panel will present information on how opioids affect the body, and why addiction occurs, including the physiological and social effects of addiction, as well as treatment options.
This event is free and open to all.
