OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City School District exhibits a spring art show, “Art Is Culture,” in the James F. Montpelier Gallery for the Visual and Performing Arts at Ogdensburg Free Academy.
Students from kindergarten through grade 12 will be showcasing their talents through a selection of works in a variety of media.
Opening night is Friday, March 25, with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m.
Friday evening guest artist Relanie Prudhomme performs with teachers and students a Portuguese-inspired dance called Maculele. Guest artist Len Mackey instructs a drumming class with cultural storytelling.
Light refreshments will be provided by Ogdensburg Education Association.
The exhibit will be on display through June.
The public is invited to the gallery events or to view the artwork from the city’s talented youth.
