POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum is hosting a fundraising gala Saturday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m. at Clarkson University's Adirondack Lodge.

There will be live music, a special menu designed by chef Kyle Mayette, and a preview presentation on the museum's upcoming digital wall exhibit.

There will be a wine and beer selection and a fruit and cheese display.

The first course will include arrowhead spinach salad with pear, sweet potato crisps and pomegranate vinaigrette.

Entrée choices include seared beef tenderloin with caramelized onion mash and green beans; grilled salmon with spiced lentils and garlic kale; or cauliflower sweet potato curry with cilantro tempura and jasmine rice.

Dessert will be ginger orange crème brûlée with hazelnut tuile.

The gala will cost $100 per person.

One hundred percent of the proceeds support the museum's hands-on, minds-on exhibits and programs.

Register by Jan. 10 as space is limited.
