NORFOLK -- The Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department will host its auction and chicken barbecue on June 2, starting at 11 a.m. at the Norfolk Fire Station on Furnace Street.
The barbecue portion of the event will be open until all of the dinners have been sold.
The price is $10 per meal and will include a barbecued half chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, a buttered roll and a generous portion of macaroni salad.
The auction will begin at noon and will feature a wide variety of new and used items.
If anyone from the community would like to donate items for the auction, contact any Norfolk fireman or call 315-384-6019 or 315-384-6081 to have the items picked up.
