CANTON -- "Marvel of the Snow Gems: Microphotographs of Snow and Ice Crystals by Wilson A. Bentley," is on view in Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University Jan. 24 through March 9.
It is free and open to the public. Bentley (1865-1931), was a farmer in Jericho, Vt. who devoted his life to photographing snow and ice crystals.
The exhibit includes original vintage microphotographs, as well as glass-lantern slides dating from the era.
