POTSDAM -- The 10th IMPACT Music Festival returns this year as a showcase of North Country talent from noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 6 under a huge tent at the North Country Community Church, 97 Elm St.

The music styles will range from country to gospel and rock. The music starts at noon with Max Fobare and Charlie LaFountain of The Sound of Nashville in the Adirondacks playing country hits old and new.

They will be followed at 1 p.m. by the SUNY Potsdam Gospel Choir, Voices of Victory, which will lead a time of dynamic praise.

At 2 p.m. Ivette Sassone will perform contemporary gospel hits. Chris Lincoln, a favorite from last year, will present his original material at 3 p.m. followed by Yolanda Reuss at 4p.m.

The Stonegate Worship Band and Zion round out the day at 5 and 6 p.m., both performing with a rocky edge to their music.

There will be a food concession on site and games for the whole family to help make the festival an all-around fun event.
