HAMMOND – The Chippewa Bay Fish And Game Club’s annual Open Boundary Northern Pike Ice Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, Feb. 10.
Fishing – catch-and-release on Chippewa Bay only – runs from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All pike must be at least 24 inches long.
Entry fee is $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
Top adult prize is $1,000, and top prize for kids is $250, with lots of other prizes.
Registration will be held Friday at the club, 1198 Hammond-Chippewa Bay Rd., Hammond, from noon on. There will be live music Friday night.
Pre-registration is also available at Frog Hollow Bait Shop, Chapman’s Sport Shop, and Felder’s Service Station.
