OGDENSBURG -- Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley will be conducting a training, Confidence to Care, for all community members who are caring for those with serious illness.
The program will cover aspects of physical care, death and dying, grief and spiritual needs, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ogdensburg.
It will be presented by Hospice staff including chaplain Rev. Rob Schirmer, nurse Ruth Scruggs, and bereavement counselor Jessica Love.
