OGDENSBURG -- The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library invite the public to its annual Fall Book Sale at the Ogdensburg Public Library.
The Fall Book Sale will run from Thursday, Oct. 18, through Saturday, Oct. 27 during these hours: Oct. 18, 5-8 p.m.; Oct. 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Oct. 22-26 during regular library hours; and a $5 bag sale on Oct. 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
“Friends” members receive half off purchases throughout the sale, excluding the Bag Sale.
The Fall Book Sale also kicks off the 2019 Friends of the Library Membership Drive.
The Annual Friends Reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m. There will be refreshments, recognitions, and 2019 membership signups.
The Friends organization promotes the library and its services to the Ogdensburg community.
Membership runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 annually.
Benefits include: 50% off all purchases during the book sales (except bag sales), discounts on cookbooks and book bags, free use of the library conference room, quarterly newsletters, invitation to Annual Friends Reception in October, and assistance with starting a new book club.
Membership Levels include: Junior ($2); Individual ($10-$19); Family ($20-$39); Bookworm ($40-$99); Bibliophile ($100-$299); Corporate ($300-$500).
