CANTON -- A “Fish and Birds Tessellation” workshop will be held with quilter Mary Knapp on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
There will be a lunch break.
The cost is $55 or $50 for TAUNY Friends.
Tesselation patterns resemble M.C. Escher designs.
Use contrasting colors to make the designs pop and move.
Fabric in a light, medium and dark value or in three different color-ways with an accent piece is suggested.
Intermediate skills combined with that one advanced curve.
The completed size of a quilt will depend on how many units are assembled.
Examples of small wall hangings to a queen size quilt will be provided.
Participants should bring their sewing machines to the class.
A materials list will be provided in advance.
The class is limited to 10 people.
