HEUVELTON -- The Seaway Valley Prevention Council will be sponsoring a free children's “Kindness” workshop at the Heuvelton Free Library on August 19 from 1-3 p.m.
The western-themed workshop is based on the children's book "Bronco Busters" by Alison Cragin Herzig which demonstrates the importance of kindness, patience and gentleness to our young people.
The workshop will feature free cowboy gear, panning for gold, stories, crafts, bank robber snacks and Wild West games.
Outlaws, cowboys and cowgirls between the ages 4 and 8 are welcome to attend. The workshop is limited to 20 children.
Please register by calling the library at 344-6550.
