CANTON -- The 12th annual Canton Free Library Battle of the Books competition will be held on Saturday, April 14, starting at 10 a.m.
Over the past seven months, eight teams of local students in grades 4-6 have read a selected list of 20 chapter books.
The competition will test their knowledge of the books they have read in a double elimination tournament.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on the Park in Canton and spectators are welcome to watch and cheer for the readers.
