POTSDAM -- My Sister’s Keeper, a special New York State AAUW project, will be discussed at the St. Lawrence County Branch of AAUW brunch and annual meeting June 4 at Thatcher Hall, SUNY Potsdam.
Melissa Guardaro, a co-president of the Rockland County Branch and AAUW-NYS International Chair, launched My Sister’s Keeper in 2010 with former state board member Joan Monk. The project educates AAUW members about the plight of women here and abroad, and encourages local action.
The meeting and presentation are open to members and the public. Brunch is $10 per person; RSVPs are due no later than May 31 to Membership VP Becky Gerber at 268-9957 or gerberrl@potsdam.edu.
