POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence Surgery has opened a new location at 74 Market St.
General surgeons doctors Chris Brandy, Kiri BrandyMichael Oakley and Noah Zuker provide general surgery, breast surgery, endoscopic procedures, and dermatology services, among others. They have been operating since 1998.
A news release from the company touts their latest equipment, the da Vinci robotic assisted surgery system.
“With the addition of the latest da Vinci Xi Surgical System at Claxton-Hepburn, we are now offering the most cutting-edge surgical technology right here at home in the North Country,” Oakley said in the release. “Currently, we are performing many general surgery robotic procedures including cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder), hernia repairs, colon surgery, and anti-reflux operations.”
He said not every operation would benefit from robotic surgery. Various options will be presented to patients during their consultation.
They also operate their main location at 305 Main St. in Ogdensburg and offices at 39 W. Main St., Canton, and 6 Fuller St. in Alexandria Bay.
