St. Lawrence County’s number of non-farm jobs stayed flat last month compared to Oct. 2014, according to the state Department of Labor.
There were 43,000 non-farm jobs in St. Lawrence County last month and a year prior as well as in September of this year.
The number of jobs in October to our east in Franklin County took a 1.5 percent dive. They had 19,100 non-farm jobs last month compared to 19,400 a year before, DOL said.
To our west in Jefferson County, that number dropped by nearly 2 percent.
They had 42,000 non-farm jobs last month and 42,800 a year earlier, a 1.9 percent change, DOL said.
