CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency has reappointed Brian W. Staples as chairman and Ernest J. LaBaff as vice chairman.
Each was recently reappointed by the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators to serve a three-year term on the IDA board.
At the same meeting, Lynn Blevins was appointed as board secretary.
“The St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency is a public benefit corporation created by New York State legislation to promote, encourage, attract and develop job opportunities and economically sound commerce and industry in St. Lawrence County,” according to a prepared statement from the IDA. “As a full-service development agency, SLCIDA works to ensure that you maximize the services available to help you start, expand and maintain your business in St. Lawrence County.”
