OGDENSBURG – A rental car service is now available at Ogdensburg International Airport – which means people arriving on Cape Air flights no longer have to depend on others for a ride.
The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority says there are now rental cars stationed at the airport through a cooperative agreement with Countywide Rental Cars based in Potsdam.
“We want to make it as quick, easy, and painless as possible to transition from plane to car and now it’s even more convenient in Ogdensburg” said John Tardelli, General Manager of Countywide Rental Cars. The phone number is 265-1850.
Authority Executive Director Wade A. Davis said, “The new rental car service at the Ogdensburg airport is a very nice addition for the business community and the leisure traveler using the airport. We have already received positive feedback from air travelers using the new service.”
The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority operates the airport, the Port of Ogdensburg, Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge, the New York and Ogdensburg Railway, and Commerce Park.
