POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual Business of the Year award.
Every year since 1993, the chamber has recognized a local business that has excelled in business improvements, innovations or changes that increase service, market area, the volume of economic activity, or number of people employed in Potsdam.
The chamber looks to recognize long-term excellence and the ability to overcome difficult obstacles.
Recent recipients include Save A Lot, Foxy Roxy’s, Ponderosa, First Crush, Great Northern Printing, J E Sheehan Contracting, and Harris Medical.
Anyone can nominate a business for the award. Letters of support, testimonials, press clippings, and other support materials are encouraged. Forms are available at the Potsdam Chamber office, 24 Market St., or on the chamber website, www.potsdamchamber.com .
