MASSENA -- The St. Lawrence Center Mall is losing yet another store.
Deb, which sells women’s clothing, is going out of business, according to the store’s manager, Melissa Baker.
She declined to speak further and referred a reporter to the company's home office, which did not immidiately return a request for additional comment.
She posted to her Facebook page on Thursday morning that it will shutter by April.
The store is one of several that recently announced they will permanently close their doors.
Sears, FYE, Bath and Body Works, Express, Sbarro’s and Twisted Turtle have all announced closures or already ceased operation. Memory Lane closed in October and is auctioning its inventory.
The Massena Town Council recently agreed to a 40 percent assessment reduction for the mall, which is at least half-empty.
The property is now assessed at $3,275,250. The former value was $5,458,750.
Mall manager David Viola did not return a request for comment.
