MASSENA -- A Massena merchant has been contracted by a Russian hockey organization to produce hockey bags.
Tony O'Geen, of Tony's Canvas & Leather, Massena, said he was recently contacted by an organization based in Latvia Russia to make hockey bags.
"The internet is great now. All those faraway country's are right in front of your computer screen," he said.
O'Green said the bags will be used by professionals and hobby players alike.
"I kind of joked with them saying we couldn’t of done this year’s back during the cold war," he said.
