CANTON -- Lowe’s of Potsdam recently gave 100 smoke detectors to Canton Fire and Rescue.
They will go to people in the department’s response area who may not have a working smoke detector in their home.
Department officials said in a news release that they are "very grateful to Lowe's for their donation and recognition of the safety that working smoke detectors provide."
