The Electricians Joint Apprenticeship Committee of Watertown, Local Union #910, is recruiting 10 electrician apprentices through the end of the year.
Applications can be obtained in person only at the Local Union #910, 25001 Water Street, Watertown, or 28 New York Road, Plattsburgh, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. If a holiday falls on the first Monday of a month, applications will be accepted on the second Monday.
Applicants must be 18 by the time they start, must apply in person with a picture I.D., sign for application, and bring an up-to-date resume. They must be at least a high school graduate, or have a general equivalency diploma or have a two-year associate’s degree or higher. Some mathematics requirements also apply.
Some specific requirements are exempted if the applicant has documented education or experience in the trade. Military experience is a plus.
