MASSENA - Representatives from New York State Department of Corrections will be on hand at the "Community Saturdays" booth at the St. Lawrence Centre, NYS Hwy. 37, this Saturday, Aug. 28, all day.
They will be here to recruit potential individuals to add to their corrections force and to provide information on upcoming testing to become an officer.
St. Lawrence Centre is proud of its long-standing position as a community gathering place and supporter of area non-profit organizations. The "Community Saturdays" program provides non-profit organizations with an opportunity to hold awareness activities and volunteer opportunities free of charge.
As the media sponsor of the "Community Saturdays" program, NorthCountryNow.com posts each week which non-profit organization is scheduled to be at the booth.
The "Community Saturdays" booth is available on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge. The booth is located at the east end of the mall's food court.
