CANTON -- Glow Skincare and Spa, 75 Main St., was honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration May 5 at the SBA’s Excellence Awards lunch in Syracuse.
NY Small Business Development Center in Canton honored the company, owned by Carmen and Blake Gendebien.
Glow Skincare and Spa sells facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup consultation, massage, body treatments, tanning, teeth whitening, waxing and hydromassage.
They also sell an all-natural skincare line and the same line of nail polish used in the spa at The Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Glow also offers men’s services and “princess” services geared toward young girls.
Small businesses are selected for the Excellence Awards based on “their company’s longevity, innovation, sales growth, increased employment, ability to overcome adversity or community contributions,” SBA said in a prepared statement.
