Sara J. Myers and Calvin N. Sharlow were married on September 28, 2019 in the Village Green Park in Norwood by Potsdam Town Justice James Mason. The couple and her children have lived across the street from the park for the past 18 years.
The bride is the daughter of Carol and Duane Irish of Hannawa Falls and the mother of Matthew and Emily Myers. The groom is the son of Anna Sharlow and the late Gene Sharlow of Hannawa Falls.
The bride was escorted by her son Matthew S. Myers. Her daughter Emily J. Myers was her maid of honor. Her son's partner in life, Rebecca A. Woods, was her bridesmaid. Her grandson Bodey J. Myers was the ring bearer.
The day was a celebration of the life they have already shared together and a continuation of that love with family and friends.
A dinner and dancing reception followed at The Elks Lodge in Potsdam.
The couple honeymooned in New Hampshire, Maine and NY.
They will continue to reside in Norwood.
