Melissa Ellen Garwol and Joseph Nelson Ramie were married Sept. 1, 2013 in Scottsville, NY.

Melissa is the oldest daughter of Michael and Patricia Garwol of Rochester, NY.

Melissa received a master in education from SUNY Oswego and is currently substitute teaching in the area.

Joseph is currently completing his bachelors degree and is employed at Time Warner Cable.

The wedding was held at the Chili Country Club in Scottsville, NY with Reverend Denise Michaelson presiding.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father Michael Garwol.

The maid of honor was Erica Giehl, college friend.

The best man was George Kotz Jr., long-time friend.

Bridesmaids included Nicole Garwol, Jennifer Garwol, Michelle Labier and Kristie Burch.

Groomsmen included Marc Ball, Michael Ball, Paul Labier, and Jeffrey Garwol.

Peyton Labier, the couple's nephew, served as the ring bearer.

Marcia Wing and Tiffany Lamberton were readers with Ben Rybolt providing music.

The wedding was perform outdoors in a gazebo.

The bride will go by the name Melissa Ramie and the couple is currently residing in Norwood, NY.
