Lindsey Marie Bishop and Lee David Kelly were married Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh by the Monsignor Dennis Duprey.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Charles E. Bishop, to the Processional Song of Wedding Party Canon in D. The organist and soloist was George Shnob.

The bride wore a strapless, satin wedding gown, with a sweetheart neckline and flared train with embroidered flowers and lace, with satin covered buttons down the full length of the back. Her veil was fingertip-length, with a scalloped edge of beaded flowers. She carried a bouquet of white and orange gerber daisies, with black centers and Italian ruscus, the stems wrapped with white satin ribbon.

Matrons of honor were Kristin Crawford and Nikki Farnsworth, sisters of the bride. They wore matching strapless, chiffon, floor-length gowns in burnt orange. They carried white gerber daisys with black centers and orange crystals with Italian ruscus and stems wrapped with white satin ribbon.

Bridesmaids were Kayla Tebeau, friend of the bride, Sara Richards, cousin of the bride, and Danielle Tower, friend of the bride. They wore matching strapless chiffon gowns to match the matrons of honor and carried white gerber daisys with black centers, Italian ruscus and wrapped with white satin ribbon.

The groom wore a brown tuxedo, with burnt orange vest and his boutonniere had white alstromerias with baby's breath.

The best man was Justin Martin, friend of the groom, groomsmen were Dennis Kelly, brother of the groom, Jason Tenberg and Mark Crump, friends of the groom. They all wore brown tuxedos with burnt orange vests and had white alstromerias in their boutonnieres.

The readings were done by Janet Richards, grandmother of the bride, and Jennifer Streeter, aunt of the groom. The gifts of wine and bread were brought up by Valerie Bishop, mother of the Bride and Brenda Peets, mother of the groom.

The reception was held at the Rainbow Banquet and Wedding Hall in the White Room located in Altona. The room was decorated with white lights and the centerpieces had birch tree holders with tea lights and birch circles with assorted colored leaves made by the bride's family.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Valerie Bishop of St. Regis Falls. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Maurice (Janet) Richards. Her paternal grandparents are Arlene Bishop and the late Charles A. Bishop, all of St. Regis Falls. She graduated from St. Regis Falls Central School and SUNY Canton graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is currently employed as the clinical lab coordinator for the Alice Hyde Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Craig and Brenda Peets of Winthrop. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Doris Kelly and the late Dennis Kelly of Winthrop and the paternal grandparents are Barbara Peets and the late Roger Peets of Massena. He graduated from St. Lawrence Central School and attended Paul Smiths College. He is currently employed by OsMose Utilities as a Foreman.

Guests attended from New York, Colorado, North Carolina and Virginia. The newlyweds honeymooned in Cape Cod and will reside in St. Regis Falls.
