Kirsten Margaret Remington and Ryan Christopher Armstrong, 197 Ritchie Rd., Dekalb Junction, are engaged to be married October 23, 2010.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Marijean Remington, 154 Spring St., St. Regis Falls. She graduated from St. Regis Falls Central School in 2004. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelors of Science in Geology in 2010. She is a graduate student in the MST program at SUNY Potsdam for Adolescence Education in Earth Science.

The groom is the son of Christopher and Diane Armstrong, 305 Chapman Street Rd., Ogdensburg. He graduated from Morristown Central School in 2001. He graduated from SUNY Canton in 2003 with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He is employed by Atlantic Testing Laboratories as a laboratory supervisor.
