MASSENA — The Nicandri Nature Center will be offering new youth group programs this summer.
Wildlings, for ages 5-9, will meet Saturday on June 29, July 13 & 27, and August 10 & 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Wildlings will explore nature through play, crafts, experiments, and more.The theme for this summer’s younger youth group is “Endangered and Extinct Animals.”
Adventurers, for ages 10-13, will meet Saturdays on July 6 & 20, and August 3, 17, & 31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The theme for Adventurers this summer is “Outdoor and Survival Skills” with each session focusing on a different outdoor skill.
Programs are free of charge. No registration is required. Participants can attend one session or all, as their schedule allows.
The Nicandri Nature Center is funded by the New York Power Authority.
