To the Editor:
Former President Trump disavows connection to the 2025 Presidential Transition Project, or “Project 2025,” an over 900 page blueprint penned specifically for a 2025 Republican U.S. presidential administration by the conservative Heritage Foundation. Rep. Elise Stefanik is “mum” on the document.
Trump has no connection to this project? Then it is odd that about two-thirds (23/36) of those authoring the plan do have connections to him, having served both in his administration and transition team. (p. xv)
Trump has no connection to this project? Curious, because the introduction to “Project 2025,” states, “one set of eyes reading these passages will be those of the 47th President of the United States….”(p. xiii)
So why would Trump wish to distance himself from Project 2025? Could it be that many proposals might be unpopular with voters? We’ll let you decide for yourself:
