OGDENSBURG— A walking tour featuring the History of Ogdensburg will take place July 12 at 10 a.m., led by City Historian Julie Madlin.

The tour will focus on the homes, buildings, and prominent people who once lived on Washington Street.

The Walk and Talk tour is an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to learn about the fascinating history of Ogdensburg.

Participants will meet on the steps of the Ogdensburg Public Library before 10am. The tour will last about an hour and a half and will cover a distance of about one mile.

The tour will highlight the stories and legacies of the people who once called Washington St. their home, as well as the architectural significance of the buildings that still stand today.

A suggested donation of $5.00 will go towards supporting the museum's efforts to preserve and share the city's history.

For more information, contact the Ogdensburg History Museum at (315) 528–0733 or visit their website at www.ogdensburghistorymuseum.com.
