To the Editor:

Surveys indicate over 30 million Americans of faith will sit out the upcoming election that is just days away. Don't be one of them! For good information on the candidates on your New York State ballots, and the ill-conceived  proposed amendment to New York's constitution known as "Proposition One" on the back of the ballot, go to iVoterGuide.comwhere their motto is "Grounded in God, rooted in research."

This coming election is the most important election in our nation's history. If you are a God-fearing voter you have but little choice this time around. Vote a straight Republican slate to save America from destruction at the hands of the God-less Democrats, or sit this one out, and sitting it out ain't an option.

By following the Democrats pattern of governing whenever they're in power, a flaw in their "blueprint" becomes readily apparent. Their platform has been built using anti-family, anti-life planks. Vice President Kamala Harris' handlers have made abortion the main plank of that platform and it goes against everything the Bible teaches us about the sacredness of life. Abortion has become as dear to the Left as human sacrifice was to the ancient pagans.

Every life matters, and we should all embrace making every life count. As soon as sperm fertilizes eggs a human life begins forming. Many on the Left seem to have a depraved indifference to life and treat abortion lightly. America has been paying a huge price since abortion became an "accepted practice" in 1973. Over 60 million innocent unborn children never got the chance to excel in life by using their God-given talents to make the world a better place. 

Although I don't agree with all of President Trump's actions or comments while on the campaign trail, he stands head and shoulders above Kamala Harris and company when it comes to actually getting the job done and running our country effectively. Christians need to take note of that and vote accordingly. 

This election is not a "personality contest" or a "beauty pageant." It is an election to decide the fate of America. Will we wake up on November 6th still living in a constitutional republic? Or will we be that much closer to a socialist state where the Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution are re-written by Leftists who hate America as it is? Christians can make the difference if they turn out and vote their values.
