AKWESASNE — Verizon will be conducting a survey of network facilities in the Hogansburg-Akwesasne area starting on July 22, 2024. The surveying will include collecting information about facilities located on poles and/or below ground. Trained Verizon surveyors will be visiting the Territory at specific equipment locations to review and document information, which may include taking photographs. The survey work will not include any physical disruption to lands such as digging and should not be a disturbance to residents.
The timeline to complete the survey work is estimated to end on July 26, 2024. Should Verizon determine network maintenance is required, Verizon shall provide additional requests to complete work.
In addition, Verizon will be on-site at and around the area of the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort to install fiber cabling and new equipment commencing on July 22, 2024 and is scheduled to end on August 5, 2024.
Verizon once again expresses gratitude to the Akwesasne Mohawk community for the continued collaboration and support.
