CANTON – Two Gouverneur residents face multiple charges following a traffic Stop March 13, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputis..
Jonathan Rafferty, 37, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation fo a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Askaniel E. Tousainte, 44, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The charges took place on Depot Street.
Deputies say the pair had 20 glassine envelopes containing Fentanyl.
Rafferty was also found to have an outstanding warrant and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
