POTSDAM — The town has selected roads for its 2025 maintenance schedule and how much of its $426,901.48 in state highway aid it will spend on each.

The town board approved the following roads and amounts to be spent:

• Sykes Road starting at the Pollock Road and leading to CR 14, a distance of 1,400 feet, up to $30,940;
• Douglas Road starting at the Italian Road and leading to the Rutherford Road a distance of 5,280 feet, not more than $124,400;
• Austin Ridge Road starting at Railroad Road and leading to McGinnis residence, a distance of 1,500 feet, up to $26,499.48;
• Sayles Road starting at Parishville Town Line and leading to the Wheeler Road, a distance of 1,800 feet, up to $44,880;
• Root Road starting at Sweeney Road Ext. and leading to South Canton Road a distance of 4,800 feet there shall be expended not over the sum of $109,200;
• Anderson Road starting at Sweeney Road and leading to South Canton Road, a distance of 4,000 feet there shall be expended not over the sum of $91,000.
