Theresa Pennyfeather, 92, formerly of Waddington

MEXICO -- Theresa Pennyfeather, age 92, formerly of Waddington, passed away unexpectedly at the home of her daughter and grandson on May 4, 2024.

Friends and family may be received on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home, in Waddington.

Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waddington.

Celebration of Theresa’s life will continue after the burial until 5:00 pm at the American Legion Post #420, Waddington.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Phillips Memorial Home, Waddington.

Theresa was born to Michael and Margaret (Lazore) Dully on February 16, 1932.

After her marriage to John Morgan Pennyfeather, they resided in Chase Mills where her husband was Postmaster and stayed there until retirement.

Theresa enjoyed her golden years and spread joy and collected friends as she went. She also was an avid fund raiser for her parish and the Edward Moses Cancer Society. She also enjoyed her time with the community program for kids.

Theresa is survived by a daughter, Rita Doud and a grandson, Michael Lamica, two sisters, Loretta Segar and Beverly Sabad; also, several be loved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael and husband, John, along with her sisters, Gladys Ibey and Cecile Dufore and a brother, Andrew Dully.
