POTSDAM -- A teen was charged after allegedly punching a police officer in the face following a disorderly male complaint Sept. 19, according to village police.
Zaedyn A. Carpenter, 18, Champlain, was charged with third-degree attempted assault and resisting arrest at 6:21 a.m. on Leroy Street, police said.
Carpenter became non-complaint during the investigation and allegedly struck an officer in the face with a closed fist and then resisted arrest.
He was cited and released.
