The 2024 Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair will officially open Tuesday, July 30 4 p.m. with food and games after 4-H livestock shows during the day. A talent show slated for later on at 7 p.m. on the grandstand. Rides will be open for fairgoers starting Wednesday. This year’s fair promises to be the biggest yet with two country music shows planned, talent show, firemen’s parade, demolition derby, grandstand shows, High School Bands Parade with Carlton Peck Awards, food, games, rides, tractor pulls and vendors.
