St. Lawrence County clerks, both current and retired, recently gathered to celebrate six remarkable town clerks who will be retiring at the end of the year. The gathering was filled with laughter, stories, and appreciation for the incredible dedication these clerks have shown to their communities over the years.

The retiring clerks are:

  • Connie Maguire, Town of Parishville – 21 years of service
  • Hope Dolan, Town of Lisbon – 33 years of service
  • Cindy Goliber, Town of Potsdam – 30 years of service
  • Susan Matheson, Town of Depeyster – 10 years of service
  • Richard Powers, Town of Hopkinton – 7 years of service
  • Jeannine Brouse, Town of Massena – 6 years of service

This celebration was a special opportunity for colleagues to reflect on the dedication, professionalism, and positive impact these clerks have had over their careers. Their work has been integral in supporting local government operations, serving residents, and mentoring future clerks in the county.

The St. Lawrence County Clerk community sends heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Cindy, Connie, Hope, Susan, Richard, and Jeannine. Their hard work, positivity, and dedication have made a difference in countless lives, and their presence will be deeply missed.
