Saying goodbye to butterflies

Potsdam Library staff were excited to release the first two of three of their Monarch butterflies who changed from caterpillars to emerge from their chrysalises July 15.

Butterfly mesh cages containing Monarchs going through their metamorphosis are also on display at North Country Children’s Museum, Potsdam Agway, Potsdam Town Hall and St. Lawrence Nursery.
