WEST POTSDAM -- Registration is now open for the fourth annual Youth in the Fire Service Day on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Fire Training Center.
To register for the 2024 Youth in the Fire Service Training Day, visit https://tinyurl.com/243ncmbr by Aug. 7.
The event will offer a variety of activities for Rams, Juniors and Explorers levels.
The schedule: 7:30 a.m. Registration; 8:30 a.m. Priority Wellness Campaign - PTSD - Mike Briggs; and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. rotations for the day will include Mayday Simulation, Basic Rope Rigging, Hose Advancement, Firefighter Down CPR and Large Area Search Procedures.
Instructors will be James Blackburn, Ray Guzman, Rick Nemier, Nick Rolley and Steve Sullivan.
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks will be served.
