Newly-crowned as the “Heavyweight Champion of the World,” the late Superman Sam Hoffman poses for a photo recently with Independent Wrestling Champion Mike Skyros, and United Helpers marketing and communications specialist Benny Fairchild. On April 19, Superman Sam, who resided at the Morristown IRA where he was in Hospice care, was visited by Skyros in person and fellow champion Jay Freddie through Facebook video chat. Sam was presented with an “official” Superman Sam t-shirt and more than 30 videos of support from professional wrestlers around the country. Superman Sam passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21.
