To the Editor:
As a citizen of the North Country, I urge you to oppose the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
As I read it, our nursing homes and hospitals will fall into financial collapse.
Our Medicare and Medicaid recipients will lose their insurance.
I support the SNAP and food bank programs
Healthcare for all makes our country strong.
I do realize we have a huge debt, but can’t we do away with the huge disastrous tax break for the rich that will make our national debt skyrocket?
Do we want to sacrifice our hard-won health care and food assistance for this, really?
