POTSDAM -- The Village of Potsdam Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 30, at 4:30 p.m. at the Village of Potsdam Civic Center, 2 Park St.
The purpose of the public hearing is to gather public input on community development needs and to discuss potential projects for funding under the 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, administered by the NYS Office of Community Renewal.
Up to $2 million in grant funds may be available to support housing, public infrastructure, public facilities, economic development, and planning activities that primarily benefit low-and moderate-income persons.
All interested persons are invited to attend and comment. Written comments may also be submitted to the Village Clerk prior to the hearing and up to 48 hours after the hearing concludes. Written comments can be brought to the Civic Center, mailed to the attention of the Village Clerk, PO Box 5168, Potsdam, NY 13676 or emailed to gscott@vi.potsdam.ny.us.
