Many Potsdam residents are still cleaning up debris and repairing damage to their homes, as local road crews work to fix washed out roads and other infrastructure that took a shellacking last Friday from the rain and wind from Hurricane Debby. Up to 7 inches of rain hit the village during the storm, according to National Weather Service estimates, keeping local law enforcement, fire department and DPW crews busy during the 24-hour period.
