To the Editor:
On behalf of the Potsdam Central School After Prom Committee, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the student families and local businesses whose donations and contributions helped us create a safe, fun, and memorable After Prom Party for our PCS seniors.
In addition to the generous monetary donations made by families and friends of our seniors, I would like to specifically thank the following businesses:
Potsdam Agway, Brick and Mortar Music, Casella Waste Management, North Country Savings Bank, North Country Children’s Museum, Parishville Center Orchard, Sandstone Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Stewart’s Shops, T&R Wine and Liquor, TJ Toyota, Northern Automotive, Barstow Motors, Roto Rooter, Potsdam Walmart, Massena Walmart, Subway, Jernabi Coffeehouse, Jreck Subs, Pizza Hut, Little Italy, Arby’s, Five Guys, and Three Bears.
Their contributions—along with those from our PCS families—allowed us to provide entertainment, food, prizes, and a welcoming space where our seniors and their guests could continue their celebration together in a safe and supportive environment.
Their commitment to the well-being of our students speaks volumes about the strength and spirit of our community. Events like this are only possible because of the continued support we receive from them. Their partnership helps us keep our students safe while also giving them the opportunity to enjoy one of the most exciting nights of their high school experience.
Again, we are so thankful for their generosity and for being an essential part of this meaningful effort. We are proud to live in a community that cares so deeply about its young people.
