'Poppy Project' in Waddington

A Waddington Elementary student places a poppy at the gravestone of a soldier.  The school’s 'Poppy Project' made poppies for the graves of all soldiers at the Old and New Brookside and St. Mary’s Cemeteries. Over 250 were honored as a poppy was placed at their gravesite by a group of students and adults who met at the cemeteries before the Waddington Memorial Day parade. Photo courtesy of April Sharlow.
