OGDENSBURG -- the family of Patricia Ann (Baker) Gordon, age 72, report her passing on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Claxton-Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg.

The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home in Madrid, NY.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services at this time.

Patricia Ann (Baker) Gordon was born to the late Ada (Finnie) and Ira Baker Jr. on October 18, 1952. She attended schools in Canton, NY and was married to her loving husband Almond W. Gordon Jr. in Morley, NY, on May 3, 1971. He predeceased her in September of 2009.

Patricia worked for various jobs in the area along with Fruit of the Loom factory in Rabun Gap, Georgia. Upon her return to the North Country, she was a cashier with Price Chopper in Ogdensburg, NY, for several years.

Patricia is survived by her three sons, Kelly L. Gordon of Somerset, KT, Almond W. Gordon III of Massena, NY, Christopher T. Gordon,; two daughters, Amanda A. Gordon and her companion Danny Whitcombe, Sr. and Melissa R. Gordon all of Ogdensburg, NY; she is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her sisters, Deborah Hazelton and Katherine Baker both of Ogdensburg, NY; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nephews and nieces.

Patricia enjoyed playing games on her tablet, watching her stories on the television and cooking shows with her daughter Amanda and also enjoyed spending time with her family.
