Anyone can easily see the difference in gas prices when they leave the St. Lawence County.
I went to Watertown and saw a 40 cent less difference in gas prices. That week I also had to go to Malone and saw the same decrease in their gas prices.
There is nothing new or secret about this, for it has been this way for many years. Naturally, I buy my gas at both places when possible and save 5 dollars on a fill up. I also find shopping in Watertown more economical because of this.
Maybe St. Lawrence County should look at the business they may be losing in sales tax revenue and then they may try harder looking into why there is such a big difference.
